The 8 Days safari is a thrilling adventure to Uganda’s savannah grassland national parks which are Murchison falls national park Uganda’s largest and oldest park sheltering the highest population of wildlife, Queen Elizabeth national park, and lake Mburo national park with Gorilla Trek Africa. The safari will expose you to the highest population of wildlife such as elephants, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, buffalos, antelopes, and many bird species. You will also enjoy a boat cruise at the Nile and kazinga channel. Apart from game viewing, you will trek the chimpanzees in kyambura sector of the national park of Queen Elizabeth national park.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
After a morning breakfast, you will leave Kampala for Murchison falls national park through the famous Luwero triangle with a lunch stopover at Masindi hotel. The whole travel will take you approximately 7-8 hours to reach the top of the falls where you will stop for photography and viewing. Its here that river Nile the world’s longest river is forced through a narrow gorge in the rock only 7 meters wide, before ferociously plunging down 43 meters to the rocks below. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge / Nile Safari Camp / Red chill Camp.
Day 2: Game drives & Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
Early morning at sunrise, we make our way into the world famous MFNP for a half day game drive in search for the wildlife wonders Africa offers her visitors in this unspoiled land where the big game still roam freely. We might even spot some of the Big Five – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and Leopard. Other animals include; Rothschild’s Giraffe, Hyena, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, and chimpanzees among others.
After lunch, proceed for a boat trip to the bottom of the Falls along river Nile. The Nile itself hosts one of Africa’s densest hippos and crocodile populations, and a dazzling variety of water birds such as the African Fish Eagle, African Skimmer and the rare shoebill stork which can easily be seen at the banks of the river. Other bird species that can be seen include Silver Bird, Grey-crowned Crane, Goliath Heron, Black-headed Gonolek, Green-winged, Long-toed Plover, Saddle-billed Stork, Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls. Dinner and overnight in Paraa Safari Lodge / Nile Safari Lodge / Red Chill Camp.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale primates forest
Early morning head to Budongo forest (known for a diversity of ecology) for chimp trekking. See our closest relatives (800 chimps population) and see what you can learn from them. There are also other primates such as the vervet monkeys, blue and red-tailed monkey, potto, black and white colobus and baboons. In the evening we head south to Kibale national park about 4hrs. Day 4: Chimp trekking in Kibale Forest
Early morning after taking a cup of tea, you will proceed to Kanyanchu to track chimps and other primates within the forest. Compare and contract between the chimp’s behavior and humans and discover a lot! Also, check out the grey-cheeked mangabey, L’Hoest monkey, red-tailed monkey, and the vervet monkeys. In the afternoon, proceed for a nature walk to Bigodi ecotourism site (Swamp), see a variety of bird species, primates, and many antelopes. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Cultural tour, transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park
Morning visit to ‘Amabeere ga Nyina Mwiru’ cultural site, Toro King’s palace and Karambi tombs / traditional healers, lunch in Fort portal and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park (4 hrs) while keeping your out for a variety of game during the evening game drive. Overnight at Mweya safari lodge / Hippo Hill Lodge / Simba safari camp.
Day 6: Game viewing drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
In the morning after eating, go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains which is such an exciting adventure. Here you may see the dark and hairy forest giant hogs, leopards, warthogs, large herds of elephants, Defassa waterbuck, and bush baby.
Later you go for a launch trip on the Kazinga channel. You will be rewarded with views of the lakes Edward and George, Hippos, yawning crocodiles, several water birds like cormorants and flamingos among the rest.
Day 7: Drive to Lake Mburo National park
Morning breakfast at the lodge and hit the road to Lake Mburo National park. Arrive in time for lunch and embark on a boat ride to explore the beauty of the lake, retire for dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages/Lake View Hotel Mbarara.
Day 8: Game drive, transfer to Kampala
Wake early for a game drive in searches for acacia related animals like Zebras, Oribs, Kobs, sitatungas, and many bird species, retire for late breakfast and proceed back to Kampala with an en route stop at the equator for photographs, arrive in Kampala by afternoon.
