France’s Top Soccer Team Signs Deal to Market Rwanda Gorillas
Rwanda will continue to amaze with her extensive and aggressive tourism marketing campaigns. After a year of partnership with the English Premier League (Arsenal footfall club) to promote Rwanda gorilla tourism and encourage more travelers to visit this small country, Rwanda Development Board has yet signed another big gig with Frances’s top soccer team. Paris Saint Germain, the top soccer team in France signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Rwanda Development Board with the sole aim of promoting Rwanda gorilla tours and other wildlife experiences in East Africa and Africa as a whole. It seems like, Rwanda having explored the European countries, the small country has now diverted to promote her tourism in Africa and encourage increased African tourists. From now onwards, the “Visit Rwanda” slogan will be displayed at the Parc des Princes Stadium, on the sleeve of the PSG women’s team and on the back of training kits just like it appears on the sleeves of the Arsenal football club. The new initiative will promote Rwanda tourism products ranging from mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, chimpanzees, big five game and Rwanda hiking tours which will, in the end, increase the country’s foreign exchange earnings and Gross Domestic Product. Also, PSG players will start conducting some coaching sessions in Rwanda, which will deepen and strengthen Rwanda tourism’s engagement with fans from all over Africa.
