Kenneth Muhindi is a safari guide / driver with a 16 years’ experience leading short and long trips involving solo and group travelers to any part of East Africa. He is among the original gorilla-tracking rangers in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Born and raised in Ruhija, Kenneth had the opportunity to participate in habituating the first gorilla groups in the dense rain forests of Bwindi. Thus Uganda Wildlife Authority was his first employer as a game ranger in various national parks including Bwindi, Mgahinga, and Queen Elizabeth. He personally knows pretty much every ranger in every park. His wildlife spotting skills are magical and can spot leopards in dense foliage at 500m. He is the head of the Uganda safari guides’ association. His contacts are constantly feeding him information on what animals are where, what conditions are like on what roads, how crowded different attractions are, and he’s constantly looking out for you. In short, you can’t do better, so just ask for him, then listen to him and trust him and you’ll do great.
Kenneth has a story to tell about the parks themselves, the animals, the local area, the history and culture.
